To enable you to decide, book and purchase our services, AA Express (“we” or “us”) requires you to provide relevant information about yourself; contact information, your guests and travel details. In addition, you are also required to provide credit card or debit card or bank account information to our bank for payment of our services.

The information is used to process your transaction(s); deliver our services efficiently; identify and communicate with you if we need to; and to protect the information you provided to us against fraud when administering your transaction.
To make payments you are required to provide credit card, debit card or bank account information to our bank. For security reasons, we do not store details of your credit card, debit card or bank account.
Transaction Information
When you book or purchase our services and/or make any subsequent changes to your booking, we ask you to provide information relating to each transaction including your travel plan date and details, guest details, etc. We retain this information for each of your transactions in our database.
Verification
If we cannot verify the information that you provide, we may contact you by email/fax/phone to send us additional information (e.g. travel itinerary or other information), or to verify your identity.
Use of “Cookies”
A “cookie” is a small file of data that resides on your computer and allows us to recognise you as an AA Express customer or member if your return to the AA Express website when you use the same computer and browser. Usage of a “cookie” is in no way linked to any personal information while you are on our site.
We send you a “session cookie” each time you log in to your account or itinerary on our website. Therefore you do not need to retype your email address and password or other details for purpose of logging in. Our web server can only access this information. Internet users and third parties cannot access this information. As soon as you close your browser, our “session cookies” expire and no longer have any effect.
We also utilise “cookies” to track the effectiveness of our online advertising. This information is treated confidentially and shall not be shared with any third party. We will only use this information to make informed decisions with regard to your purchase of our services and products. Disclosure of Information To Bus Operator
Your name and names of your guests, hotel and travel details will be produced in our Manifest to our Bus Operator and their employees to organise and carry out the bus services that you purchase. The information is provided solely and exclusively for the purpose for due performance and delivery of our services.
Disclosure of Information To Third Parties
AA Express will not sell or rent any of your personal information to any parties. However, we may disclose your personal information to our bank for authorisation of transaction and for payment; relevant third parties such as our Bus Operator and authorized government bodies if legally required to do so.
AA Express may share anonymous, aggregated information, analyses and statistical information about our users with third parties but will not disclose any personal information.
Internet Address Information
We use IP addresses, browser types and access times to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movements, improve site performance and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personal information.
Information Security
We enforce a high standard of information security. Our online reservation system resides on a secure server that encrypts your purchase information using Secure Socket Layers that use 128 bit SSL Certificate. Only authorised employees will have access to your personal information.
You will be responsible for the security of your password. If and when you are aware that someone else has obtained access to your password, please change it immediately by logging in to your account at our website.
We will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an email. However, we may ask you to enter this information on the AA Express website, which will always have a URL beginning with https://www.aaexpress.com.au.
Any email or other communication requesting your password or asking you to give sensitive account information via email, or linking to a website with a URL that does not begin with https://www.aaexpress.com.au should be treated with suspicion.
